Interactive Intelligence
Awarded Best Large
Enterprise
Solution at INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO
INDIANAPOLIS
(March 1, 2007)
Interactive Intelligence Inc. (Nasdaq: ININ), a global developer of business communications
software, was named Best of Show last month for Best Large Enterprise Solution at
INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO East 2007.
The award recognizes innovative technology and creative product feature sets, according
to Rich Tehrani, president and group editor-in-chief of Technology Marketing Corporation
(TMC), publishers of INTERNET TELEPHONY Magazine.
"Interactive Intelligence has clearly demonstrated technology innovation and has
a long history of leading the market by providing many advanced solutions to customers
years before most others," Tehrani said. "The company was one of the first to offer
a SIP stack back in 2002, and innovated again and again through the development
of an all-software IP telephony solution in 2003, and a unique media server in 2005.
Today, with the software's ability to support 5,000 users on a single platform,
along with the provision of both contact center agent and business user applications
running on the same system for truly unified' communications, Interactive Intelligence
has solidified its place as a leader in the large enterprise IP communications market."
The Best of Show awards were given across 11 different categories, with winners
selected from among a total of about 75 vendors that submitted award applications.
Best of show winners were determined by a panel of judges who visited each exhibitor
booth, viewed product demos, and interviewed company staff.
"We're especially proud to receive the INTERNET TELEPHONY Best of Show award in
the large enterprise category, since we have aggressively invested in research and
development efforts over the past few years that have resulted in dramatic scalability
gains," said Joseph Staples, senior vice president of worldwide marketing for Interactive
Intelligence. "These gains have led to an increasing number of large, global accounts
customers such as Amway, BMW, Ceridian, Computershare, Oracle, and many more."
Interactive Intelligence released its flagship unified communications software for
contact center automation and enterprise IP telephony in 1999. The company's standards-based
software suite offers single-platform architecture designed to eliminate the cost
and complexity introduced by individual point products. For more information about
the Interactive Intelligence software suite, visit http://www.inin.com/products/productsoverview.asp.
